I was dreading anything much longer (Xenoblade Chronicles X, for instance is claiming to have 300 hours of gameplay). I was 30ish hours in when I hit the midway point. Unlike their original Western releases, Symphonia Chronicles allows players to select between English and Japanese audio for both games. I reckon it took me roughly 60-65 hours, including a few optional things but no trophy hunting or anything like that. It follows the adventures of Lloyd Irving as he and his friends work to help Colette Brunel regenerate the world. It is also the third game to be released in North America.

The port of Tales of Symphonia is based on the PS2 version of the game which included extra content and some gameplay improvements, however the framerate was reduced to 30 frames-per-second instead of 60 like on the Gamecube.
